In mississippi can you get food stamps if the father gives up rights?
My husband and I live in Mississippi and we just found out he has a 14 yr old daughter.He is paying child support for the child,and the mother said he can't have visitations or meet her.In fact the mother said she doesn't want our money DHS dose cause she gets food stamps.If he signs his rights away will she get her food stamps and will he stop paying child support. We really dont have money for a lawyer and we are scraping by with her getting most his check .
