Good conversation is like nectar, but try and find it! I never thought most people were any great shakes when it came to conversation before the Internet, everything was always gossip or talking about TV or making fun of people...and now! Don't mistake what's going on with Twitter and Facebook as conversation, I don't use them or anything like them either, because it's really nonsense. Twitter is moronic, really, who cares that your bagel was too toasted, it's also hurt a lot of people's feelings and caused a lot of problems, people don't think before they get married or buy a house, they're going to consider what they twit? (Yeah, tweet, right...) And Facebook is nothing but an invasive marketing tool, I can't believe people have fallen for that, all of these companies, "like us on Facebook!" I've come to the conclusion that Americans, and I am an American, are the stupidest consumers on the face of the earth. Facebook is a weapon in the hands of bullies and pedophiles...it really is dreadful. You know, they used to say, if you wanted to meet a guy who didn't like to hang out in bars, who liked to stay at home in front of the fire and play with the dog, how on earth are you going to meet him? And it's like that now. To me, there's the Internet version of people with whom I might have something in common, and then the real deals who don't spend too much time with technology -- you just have to find a better way to meet them! Been nice talking to you.
