How could anyone hate free-market capitalism?

How could anyone hate free-market capitalism?
I hear so many people put down this idea and I don't know why. Capitalism is the only system I know of that someone who grew up poor, dropped out of high school, and didn't have many skills could become a millionare.

Capitalism is the only system that someone like Michael Moore could make a DOCUMENTARY and make 200 million dollars off it!

Sure I believe we need some social programs, but why does that mean we need complete government control of the economy?

Why can't we have the socal programs and still make money?
