How can you say the large gap between the rich and poor is a bad thing, if you support capitalism?

If you have too much wealth concentration, you can't have real capitalism. The rich don't spend all the money they have. They horde it, and it therefore stays out of the economy, and the labor market suffers. It's not black and white, but this country needs more income equality to survive. Since most people are primarily self interested, the only way to do this is make the taxes higher on the rich and have strict compensation rules.
