Should I buy a PS3 for christmas?

I already own an Xbox 360 250gb (slim) and It is good at the moment with no problems. But I just feel the need for a PS3, I would only really buy the PS3 for the blu-ray player and the exclusives (Uncharted, God of War etc.) so this is why I am not sure. Is it really worth the money to buy this console just to play exclusives or do you think that I should just stick with my Xbox? I have also heard that the PS3 is the ultimate multimedia device (apart from a computer) right now, is this true?
If I did get a PS3 I wouldn't get the super slim because it just seems really bad, but I would get the 2010/2011 160GB Slim.

I have also owned an Xbox 360 since 2006/2007 (It got rrod so I have the new one now), But to be honest when I was buying my very first Xbox I originally wanted to get a PS3 but all my friends had Xbox at the time.
