If you are answering directly on an employer's website or through a service that they are using, I would definitely complete everything applicable for which they are asking.
I frequently will disqualify applicants for not completing the information that I am requesting. Often times, employers need this information for tracking purposes, or for purposes of performing background checks. However, with that said, the employer really shouldn't be asking for your date of birth, race, marital status, maiden name, etc. until they make an offer of employment. Address is normally a required field. Particularly if the company will be sending out letters to request additional information, or to inform you about the status of your application. |
