What is good about social networking sites?

I think they are good because it gives people a chance to get back in touch with people from their pasts and even though you don't talk to them a lot, just the fact that you can just say "hi" is good for me. Also, I like the fact on Facebook if you want to send out an invite to something, you can just pick the ppl you want and organize it on your page. Thats easy to me!
