GDP and NNP help?...calculating?
Following... is a list of national income figures for agiven year. All figures are in billions. The ensuing questions will ask you todetermine the major national income measures by both the expenditure and incomemethods. The answers derived by each approach should be the same
Personal Consumption Expenditures $245
Transfer Payments $12
Rents $14
Capital Consumption Alowance $27
Social Security Contributions $20
Interest $13
Proprietors Income $31
Net exports $3
Dividends $16
Compensation Of Employees $221
Indirect Business Taxes $18
Undistributed corporate profits $21
Personal taxes $26
Corporate income taxes $19
Corporate profits $56
Government purchases of good $72
Net private domestic investment $33
Personal Saving $16
(A) Using the data above , determine the GDP and NNP bythe expenditure and income methods
(B) NowDetermine NI (1) by making the required subtractions from GDP and (2) by addingup the types of income which comprise NI
