Extremely overprotective parents?

Damn your parents sound even more over protective than my boyfriend's parents, he's 28 and they don't let him go out anywhere on his own, he has to have someone with him and he isn't allowed to have or go to sleepovers either. His mum and dad don't approve of our relationship, but they don't like him being with ANY girl. He has severe learning difficulties though and his mum and dad just want him to be safe and happy. Your parents sound like they want you to be safe, and are afraid of losing you or of anything happening to you. However, they do sound extremely overprotective, so maybe you should talk to them and ask if they let you hang out with your friends for a couple of hours. If you have a mobile phone, tell your mum and dad you'll call them to let them know you arrived and are with your friends safely.
