Why does this pop up when I try to play Battlefield 3?
I have a Dell Inspiron 14R and I tried to download Battlefield 3 on my PC. Everything went fine but when I started to play it but a little icon showed up and said that I needed to download direct x 10 and 10.1 to play. So I went to Microsoft.com and downloaded what I needed and it said that I have the DirectX installed and up to date. What do I do?
This is the exact message that showed up. Failed creating D3D device of at least version 10.0 on adapter “Intel® HD Graphics†with driver “Unknownâ€. Error is DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED (“Unsupported.â€). This is typically caused by not having the minimum required Direct X Support in the GPU. For NVIDIA GPUs, DirectX 10.0 support is required. For AMD and GPUs, from other vendors, DirectX 10.1 support is required. Ads |
