Why are liberals more likely to block, unfriend a person who doesn't agree with them (scientific study)?

It is a form of censorship. If that person blocks or unfriends, they are no longer heard and therefore are seen to be irrelevant.

The problem with that line of thinking however is, they fail to understand that politics is about discourse and difference. Hiding their detractors accomplishes nothing. It just makes us more determined to be successful.
