1 in 4 women have experienced rape or attempted rape. Is this true?

I have to simply frown on these. They are so warped. The definition of rape, that is.

Take away those that "felt" raped but weren't.
Take away those that were not raped at all, yet got someone sentenced for rape.
And so on.

Do I think there is too much rape, same as any other crime? Yes. But saying by that amount, I simply do not agree.
Most of my friends growing up were/are female. There was two that were raped. Out of the fifty - odd women, only two were raped.

I think that people that conclude such statistics warp the definition of rape to things that are not actually rape, yet classify it as, and then add them all up.
