Yes what you did was wrong you could have talked to her delicately and given her some advice... the way you went about it was wrong. If anything i would try to apologize to him because he is mad. If anything use any proof you have against him if it ever comes up prove somehow that it was connected to him or better yet involve the police if you have solid evidence. but good luck
