Going on First date tips?

This is NOT a date.

You are bringing a group of your friends to 'check out the guy. This sends a clear message that you don't want to be alone with him, not even in a public place. He is going to be wondering the entire time where your friends are hiding and spying on him.

If you want to do this right, have a video chat so you know he is who he says he is. No video chat = No date. Then you meet at a nice restaurant in a shopping mall for dinner. About 90 minutes. Then you say goodbye.

If you do it your way, you have a movie that's about 2 hours (staring at a big screen) and then dinner is an hour and a half. You will probably end up walking around somewhere and it will drag things to about 4 hours. That's too long.
