If Jesus is the Messiah in Islam, why is Muhammad more important?

Excuse me ,
First I've read your question but permit me to ask who said that Jesus (pbuh) is less important than Muhammad (pbuh) . The Quran said : "“We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” " 2 : 285

and we have a chapter " surah " called " Muhammad " and another chapter called " Mary "

and Jesus was mentioned in the Quran 25 times while Muhammad was mentioned 4 times
But what do you mean as I understood that Muhammad (pbuh) is known as the prophet of Islam so Muslims naturally follow him in all his deeds also as the Quran was revealed to him which is the book of Islam .
We Muslims do respect and love all the prophets of God so Muslim men also can marry women of other religions as we believe in all religions but Muslim women can't marry except Muslim man as men of other religions don't admit the prophet hood of Muhammad (pbuh)
