Myspace is safe. And why should you trust me? It's because I do have a myspace account. Well, used to. I deleted it because I'm just too busy to maintain it. It's really safe, but there are some pervs there too. My advise is don't approve anyone whom you don't know.
And if you really don't want your mother to know, set your profile to private. But i would tell my mum that i'm getting one. I mean, it won't do any harm. Smile
