Are my friends too sensitive or am i in the wrong?

basically in uni i got invited to a group convo on facebook with my old mates doin a reunion, but i just left. I didnt want to be distracted by work over the holidays as i hadd exams so i left immediately and i find those inboxes irritating sometimes.

But i think they took it to hearr because like a week later i think i had a change of heart and asked them wat they were up to this holiday andd they all completely ignored me. is it really because i left the group convo.

When i did no one put the effort to even asking why i left. Is it really because of something silly like this. Its new years day should i jus forget about my old friends and focus on my uni ones.

Not one wanted to talk to me. I know wat i did was wrong but was it that bad? If im in the wrong jus say so.
