A lot of people bash on gaga because she's not afraide to be herself.
But remember people get bullied every single day. She dresses like that for her fans to remind us that we shouldn't be afraide to be who we want to be wether it's gay lesbian or just the color of our skin. People look at her like she's some sort of monster, the way people against gays look at them like if this whole world is full of monsters, that's why she calls herself mother monster (being that she helped many become stronger) and we are her monsters.
She writes her own music and will not leave the studio until it is finished, as you notice there are rarely any paparazzi photos of her, because she is always trying to make more music.
I believe it is her personality that makes her famous because she simply has no damns to give for those who love to bully and judge.
But at least someone is taking a stand for those who are afraide to.
