If you dont like timeline, theres no way to get rid of it, once its enabled on your account, its just not possible. You can however disable Timeline in your own browser, and view all personal and fan page profiles in the old style single column format. You just need to follow the simple guide here:

This method is safe and it really works, you can tell this because it has over 55,000 "likes" on the page, and hundreds of positive comments from people who have got it to work.
