It is my understanding that the Social Security fund is solvent until 2042. By then, even the youngest baby boomers will be in their late 70s. So I don't see many baby boomers being affected. In the meantime, the politicians should get off their butts and do something about raising the retirement age to at least 70, possible 72 or 75.
