Texting or talking on Facebook is not a strong way to appeal. Go and talk to him directly and say that you like him and you should get back together. If he says yes, then good..and never let go of him. If he says no, then forget him, just be friends(don't feel awkward) and have a move on. Just don't hesitate, it is certainly worth a try...
Just think about what you really want before making any decision..
