what do you think of someone with no social network?

I personally only have a Twitter...that's not under my actual name and that nobody knows about. I also never post on it. I'm a teenager and about ninety-nine percent of the people I know have a social network, but they never seemed to care about the fact that I didn't have one. Sometimes one of my friends would bring it up, but I think people these days actually like verbal communication when they have the chance because it's so rare nowadays. If I meet someone that has no social network to speak of, I could actually relate to them. It also boosts your self confidence when you have to speak to people upfront. I enjoy talking about what's happening orally, instead of having to decipher my way through "lol's" "btw's" and other abbreviations. I personally think of people with no social network with higher regard, since they tend to be a better person to "hang out" with. They won't be glued to a computer or their phone all day. You also don't have to worry about all that online drama that comes with having an account on a social network. It eliminates a lot of hurdles. At times I think it would be nice to have a social network and look up to what other people are doing, but there's something called over-sharing. There's an air of mystery around a stranger, and it's rewarding to get to know them personally...to look at them while you are speaking to them, but when you add the internet in between it takes all that excitement away and friendships aren't valued. You hear stories about people getting hung up over social networks, and you hear stories about people doing stupid things on social networks...what happened to talking through your problems offline?
