Prediction of how the US will be in the next 5-10 years?
i definitely see this country becoming more and more left and i think it'll eventually become a straight out socialist. plus the whole rep and dem parties aren't even different. i feel like they just act that way to each other just so they can share the power on and off. i believe its an extremely fraudulent two party scandal and there's not much we can do about it because the majority of Americans are brainwashed by their fox news and cnn propaganda. i also don't really see a 'revolution' coming if that was to happen just because of the simple facts that

1). majority are extremely misinformed/uninformed
2). most people wont just leave their job and go across the country to protest in DC ( or anywhere for that matter) and/or risk being labelled a criminal.
3). the youth coming up is HORRIBLE. i can speak on this because i am 17 and go to a public school and i can tell you first hand that no one gives a crap about anything other than twitter and copying the homework that's due next period. lazy asses
4). people naturally conform to what other people are doing or saying. i'm saying this in the sense of opinons' on who's in government, who should be the next president, whether that law is right or wrong, etc.

i know i have a rather pessimistic view but with the way this country is going, i don't see it going anywhere but down, down, down. it scares me that the government will just impose obamacare on us and they pass it off as a tax and no one does anything! doesn't anyone remember the phrase no taxation without representation?! that was the beginning of the revolutionary war and we're just passively accepting this as life. i hear people grumble and complain about it but no ones really DOING anything. some people are but that's literally 1/50 in the sense of people actively doing something. most people are too caught up in their work/family/social life to go out of their way to do something. and people also passively accepted the NSA revelations. like what. yeah people weren't happy, but again, no one really DID anything.

also, correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the duty of GOVERNment to simply just govern? they're sticking their noses in far too many places than what's appropriate. how is the affordable care act and the patriot act considered within legal jurisdiction of what the government can do? stamp act, molasses act, sugar act, tea act...

i know i my opinions might seem a bit weird but i think the proof is in the pudding. i just wanted to state my position on this and why i believe it. i also know that i may be wrong in some instances considering i'm only a young adolescent trying to talk about such adult things, but i think my views hold some merit. i'm just a very concerned kid about to go off into the world and not know where the hell this country is going to go.

but yeah, sorry about the long read lol. i'm very interested in knowing all of your opinions so please don't hold back!
