You raise some good points and I can see where you are coming from. Hopefully you are wrong in your assumption and America wakes up and realizes that the government is slowly, but surely, becoming bigger and bigger and bigger. The role of the Federal government as outlined by the Constitution is very minimal and includes things like foreign policy and national defense. 90% or more of what the federal government is currently involved with should be left up to the states.

But you're right, there are so many people who are uninformed and vote for politicians based on how they feel about them. You can thank our education system for the "dumbing down of America" and if you don't think that wasn't intentional so people can stay in power than think again.

I would just like to make a note than "no taxation without representation" does not apply to Obamacare.
