im going through the same thing... i really want a iphone for my birthday (i have a piece of crap itouch) and they are being kind of stubborn about getting one... how far away is your birthday?!? because if it is far away you could just hang out with friends ALOT and maybe use ur phone for calling or txting (if it even can do that) thats what i would do!!!
