Google PR usually gets updated every six months. There are other metrics that are a little more accurate that go from week to week. They're pricier but usually more accurate.

Have you considered having an SEO agency give you a free SEO report? There might be a few that do that. They can look at your site and tell you what you might be able to benefit from or if you're fine.

There's one company out of Oklahoma that does a pretty good job. They're little bit pricier than your average work at home marketer, but they've done excellent work helping people's website's rank.
