As you are implying, that wouldn't fit the narrative the Liberal media was pushing.

The narrative they were pushing was White Racist shoots unarmed black boy while on the way home carrying Skittles and an Ice Tea.

17 year old Trayvon doesn't fit that narrative. That's why for months they kept showing us pictures of innocent and clean cut 12 year old Trayvon. That's why they scrupulously avoided telling us anything about Trayvon, like what you mentioned.

That's why when Zimmerman was discovered to Hispanic, the Narrative changed to Zimmerman being a "White Hispanic,"
