my husband had an affair and the woman he was having an affair with posted...?

In reality, her behaviour is just a bad consequence of your husband's choice to have an affair. Would you stop hurting about the affair if the photo was removed?

How is it hurting you, your children, family and friends that she has this profile photo? Do you each go look at the photo and think 'seeing this photo is really hurting me'? It only hurts because you are all hurting and choose to see it in this way. This is just a way of focusing some of your hurt on this woman.

The bigger picture here is that the photo is just a reminder of a bad choice your husband made. It's not nice of her to put the photo up but it is her choice (and your husband did let the photo be taken of him). I think you know that FB aren't going to ban her or do anything else so think about moving on now. Find a way to stop talking about and looking at the photo - you can't make her remove it.
