It seems to me that you should get used with the ideea that you are not what your "acquaintances" want, happens to me too, nobody is calling me to see if I'm dead...
Off the record :
I'm so tired of this BS : "Go out, make some friends!". Is that really how people made friends ? Going out ? Then what ? Talk to whoever you see on the street and if he won't be your friend go to the next person ? Come on, be realistic, your friends are those you made when you where young, that's all, anybody else is an acquaintance. I'm sorry if I offended some of you, but if you don't have something real to say, just don't say anything...
