70% of Obama's twitter followers are fake, why would the Obama campaign make so many fake accounts?

I guess i am also a "fake" account following Obama. The story says: "Fake accounts tend to follow a lot of people but have few followers". They use this to determine if a follower is fake.

Why do I have no follower? Because I'm not really into tritter, i mostly ignore it.

Why do I follow a lot of accounts? When I started i followed a lot of accounts that were interesting.

Why follow Obama? 'Keep your friends close and your enemies closer'

So, i guess i am a fake Obama follower. :-P
