There's no such thing as a typical teenage girl. That assignment's kind of stupid...it's *asking* you to stereotype and generalize.

But...I would suggest focusing more on the emotional stuff. There are universal feelings that many teenage girls tend to feel...worry, fear, sadness, love, stuff like that.
But stuff like doing makeup and clothes...that's way different for everyone. Plus it doesn't particularly make for a good poem.
