He posted videos of himself in talent shows for his family members to watch who couldn't make it. People eventually started watching his videos. Then Usher and Justin Timberlake both wanted to sign him and Justin Bieber chose Usher. Now Justin is managed by Scooter Braun. I don't exactly know how people knew to watch his videos though. Someone told me about them and thats how I started watching him.
