Please do not take offense - but it will be very difficult to find "...approachable head-of-households to introduce (yourself) to"

If you try this with your circle of friends and acquaintances you might find yourself with less friends and acquaintances. It is a very delicate matter and you might be surprised by how tough it can be. Especially if your trainer is high pressure.

Just my two cents. This is a very tough business and I wish you well.
