Please help? My friend is really upset about me?

Alright so I have a group of friends, Carala, Noah, Jahiem, Rain, and Cody. So Carala asked me if I could have only ONE best friend, who would it be? I said Jahiem because he is really caring, and Carala because she is really nice, and I figured she would be sad if I didn't pick her. Now, rain and Cody didn't get upset but Noah did and now he won't talk to me, what should I say to him? Since school was over, we always talked on Facebook until we could see each other at school again so he won't talk to me on Facebook, what should I tell him? I don't want him to feel left out!

Tell him that he should not be upset, that's a very small matter, and your choice of one among them was just random!
Tell him sorry, and also tell him that each and everyone in your friends group are same and equal.
Try to convince him as long as you can.
