How do I hide, or delete, the new Facebook (side) timeline?

As of today, there is a new Facebook, right side, timeline that hides part of my Facebook home page. I want to get ride of it! I am not even interested in the whole timeline concept!!! Thanks for very much for your reply.
Gray area on the right, text at the top "now", "2013", "2012", 2011", etc. I want to delete is or make it smaller. Capisce? :-)

your question doesnt make any sense, because the timeline is the format your profile is in, and your homepage is something completely different - perhaps if you could explain a little more i could help

but chances are, there will be nothing you can do about it anyways - when facebook makes changes, you just have to accept them even if you dont like them
