How do I make Android play a sound when a notification comes up?

Hey everybody! I want my Android to play a sound when a notification in the top area of the screen comes up. So I know it's there and I don't have to keep my eye at the top. Say for instance, someone likes your post on Instagram and it comes up in the top area of your screen. How would I make it so that it plays a sound too?

Go to each individual app that you want and then set it for the default notification. And then set your default notification in the sound settings and then choose what you want. Have a good day.
