A newly married woman's husband managing her facebook profile ? What is it ?
He asks her to remove her pre-marriage profile from face book. After a few months a new profile of her is reconstructed where she has new set of friends as per her husbands approval. These ( the new list of friends) are obviously people who are upwardly mobile and from a slightly upscale social setting than from the one she came from.

She is has complied as to 'cover up' her past.

I feel he is being manipulative. What is your opinion ?

More like completely controlling. Probably some physical abuse on the horizon of it hasn't already started.

100% he's being manipulative and controlling. I'd like to see a guy TRY and make me change who my friends are. He'd have another thing coming.

If she allows it then its okay, if he is controlling her she is probably aware and at the moment
doesn't mind it. There will come a time she resents it but its not at the moment.

that much controlling is sick, and may become dangerous in the future.

It's their business. Things change after people get married and this is one way it's changed for them. Mind your own beeswax.

Major control issues, to the extreme. He is treating his wife like she is his property and he gets to oversee and control every aspect of her life. This poor woman is going to have a very sad life with this jerk. No independence whatsoever and if she has one bit of self esteem it will be gone in no time.
