Facebook problem - fake inbox notification?
Hi. I was trying to fix this whole evening, but I couldn't. When I open my facebook, there is one message notification, but when I click on it, there are just my old messages I already read. It's really annoying, because when I get another REAL message, I can't answer it right away because I thing it's the fake one. Sorry for my english, I really can't explain it better. Anyone had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this? I checked all messages, cause I thought I maybe missed to read something, but it's not that. I archived them all few moments ago but it didn't help either.

I googled a bit, and it seems like only blackberry users had this problem, and I use PC.

Anyone?

I've had this problem many times. It shows you have a message when you have none. It goes away with time most of the time, but if you want it away right away I would try clicking on "messages/inbox" several times and see if it ever disappears, if not log in and out of facebook a few times, but if that doesn't work restart your computer and it should all be completely back to normal.

Its a bug on the facebook page. You are not the only one experiencing it. Simply ignore it. It will disappear once facebook fix the bug.
