how do you delete a facebook account?

My little sister STUPIDLY made a facebook account and put a loda stupid pictures on it and she's really messed it up.-she didn't even use her own email!- how do i delete the account?
slight problem... she doesn't know her pasword.

Go to account settings. Then click on security on the left side. Then go to deactivate account.

You have to go on settings. Deactivate the account. That means no one can access your account. And after 2 weeks of not logging in. It automatically gets deleted.

You can't. You just deactivate it by going to Account Settings > Security Settings and then Deactivate My Account.

You just leave it like that. Do not log in again. Facebook might delete that if you will not visit it for like maybe a year.

Click "Submit" and follow the instructions.

Your account will be deactivated for two weeks, and if you DO NOT USE FACEBOOK IN ANY WAY during that period, your account is permanently deleted.

I REPEAT: Your profile isn't deleted right away! You must NOT log in to, or interact in any other way with Facebook for at least two weeks, as it will cancel the deletion request. That includes NOT logging in to Facebook using any client (like the iPhone app or IM like Pidgin), NOT clicking embedded Like-buttons on other websites, NOT logging in to other services using Facebook Connect (like Digg) etc etc.

Hey, while your're at it, delete all your browsing/forms history and cookies as well, to minimize the risk of accidentally using your account!

This method is official and should be complete, i.e. no need to delete individual photos, comments, messages or items from your profile or anywhere else on Facebook! If you have any concerns whether your stuff is actually deleted (as opposed to being kept somewhere in the deep dungeons of Facbook's HQ) your best bet is to ask them using email: info@facebook.com.

Don't deactivate it. It's a stupid idea because by again logging it, your account will activate.
