How can I increase my social security payments due to physical problems?Are there lawyers who can help?

You can't. The payments are based on your income when you were working and how long you worked. And yes, I know they dont give you enough. I was on ssdi when I was going through cancer treatment

No ... the only way to increase your payments is to work and put more tax into your social security fund . Of course if you work you will lose your disability payments . There is a program to help you get back into the job market .
