Is the Internet getting boring to anyone else?
Because it seems like it to me, every website I usually goes to seems to be dead or dying, with members dying off or not saying anything interesting at all. Youtube is only promoting their poster boys like Fred, SXePhil, and Shane Dawson and not giving other's a chance to flourish besides the few viral vids that get pushed. Not to mention that the novelty of it is wearing off.

Facebook is boring, but that was never too fun for me, i honestly found Myspace to be more fun until around 2008/2009, because the groups were better and more active. I can't stand Twitter, and Tumblr is popping sometimes, but even that's getting boring.

And a lot of sites are changing their layouts for the worse, like Youtube does, or restricting more user freedoms. I think that nothing original is coming out, just variations of the same thing that offers little difference.

Not to me. Maybe you need to get an offline hobby, and leave the internet alone for a while. It will be interesting again when you go back.

Yes. I felt like I've seen everything and it's the the same old junk. Heck, it's better that way. People who find the internet boring can have more time to do things other than sitting in front of the computer all day.

I too find the internet very boring. It was exciting and new when I bought my first computer from Sears and we had dial up modems. Even though it was slow, I discovered making my own websites sometimes kept me up all night. It was all fascinating and exciting. Now that years have past, I am just plain bored with a lot of it, including facebook. The only thing that keeps me on internet, is useful things, like help repairing something, or researching facts, health tips, etc. I log into facebook daily, but its just plain boring. Advertisements on all sites are just a nuisance. If its this boring, then I feel that one day someone will come up with something more new and exciting.
