Facebook: Is there a way to know who views your profile?
I don't want to know who views MY profile, but I'm worried if there is a way for other people to find out how many times I have viewed their profiles.. Is there anything new on facebook that allows people to see who views someone's profile the most?? I hope not :/ I have seen "stalker" applications, but they only allow you to see who interacts with your profil the most, via wall posts, etc-- not the actual number of profile views.

No, Facebook has always used the sense of anonymity when viewing profiles. Any application that says it has a way to track who has viewed your profile (and claims of a dislike button) is almost 100% likely to be a virus. Any real application that would do what it claimed to in this sense would be a clear violation and removed, sometimes with action also taken against the creator if they have an account.

Facebook doesn't allow people to track who views their profiles. Facebook applications, on the other hand, are unable to track anybody unless they have the consent of the viewer.

Follow the source to see the Facebook's statement about this issue.

Despite what you hear from many applications, you can’t tell who views your profile. It's a violation of the terms of use on Facebook. I suppose that there may be an application, but using them will likely cause Facebook to delete your account without warning since you are violating the privacy rights of other people.

These profile viewing applications are not run or owned by the Facebook Company. These “fake” applications don’t work either and some may even contain viruses too! What’s worse is that it may even be owned by creepy people or hackers/stalkers that’ll take all of your Facebook data and use them for their own purpose (which probably isn’t good).

The Facebook help center (which is really useful) also says that they “do not provide applications or groups with the technical means to allow people to track profile views or see statistics on how often a particular piece of content has been viewed and by whom. Applications you use may ask for permission to access content from your News Feed and Wall. Granting this permission does not allow applications to see who has viewed your profile. It simply allows applications to see which friends have interacted with posts, such as which friends liked or engaged with a particular wall post.”

The good thing about this though is that you can look around other people’s profiles without getting discovered or caught.

Hope this helps!!
