Sending facebook messages?
If you sent a message to someone who isn't your friend on facebook, but then became their friend, would your message go into their inbox or would it stay in their "other" folder?

As soon as they reply your pm, it will move to their Inbox. So, for sure, when you become friend, it will move to Inbox.
