How can I prevent people from looking at my wifi activity thru a shared wifi router?
I share a Wifi network with other people in my family and I go on Instagram via my iPhone a lot. I would like to know if people in my family can see what I'm doing on Instagram through the wifi router. If so, how can I prevent this?

They can't see what you're doing, unless they've installed some parental program that tracks your movements for them. If they have, you can't do anything unless you find and remove it.
Edit: I don't think there's a program like that, though. Ads |

If they wanted to.....simple and affordable software solution for users who want to control, monitor, and archive unlimited Internet traffic on the company or home network, including instant messages (AOL, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, MySpaceIM, FacebookIM, WarcraftIM and QQ), emails sent and received, web sites visited, and files downloaded. The manager can view records in the database, search by key word, watch top users, monitor bandwidth and so on. It is able to record everything your employees or kids do online automatically in real time. It's easy to use, and it can run in stealth mode.
There used to be a free app which would replicate the websites of people that were connected to a Wifi network. I think that if you searched around hard enough in the dark places of the internet, you could find one. |
