Deactivating Facebook Account?
If I deactivate my Facebook account it apparently gives me 14 days to sign back in to reactivate the profile. When I hit the deactivate button it said I would lose all pictures and things I've said on Facebook. Does this actually happen? Cos if I want to reactivate my account I don't want to lose everything!

No, you shouldn't lose everything. When I deactivated my account and reactivated it, everything was still there. I'm not sure about the 14 days thing, but if you deactivate and then reactivate, your profile should remain the same.

no it doesn't I've deactivated a account before and signed in again a bit later and it's exactly the same as you left it.

No it does not delete everything. I have an account I deleted a year ago and I can still get back on it. It stays there forever and ever. The only difference is people can get to your page or search you up.

This is what it says on the facebook site
Deactivation will completely remove your Profile and all associated content on your account from Facebook. In addition, users will not be able to search for you or view any of your information. If you reactivate your account, your Profile will be restored in its entirety (friends, photos, interests etc.).. |

When you deactivate your account, your profile and all its associated information are immediately made inaccessible to other Facebook users. Although this means that you effectively disappear from the service, your information will remain saved by Facebook so that you can reactivate your account whenever you want.
