Why does CBC show boring Senators instead of Canadian Women team in Sochi?

NBC has the right to Olympics, not CBC, simple as that, besides, CBC have to feature atleast 1 Canadian team because its Hockey Night in Canada.

Because lots of us like watching live hockey rather than a rerun of a woman's hockey game that was another terribly lopsided mismatch that happens every time Canada or the US play anyone. If you wanted to watch woman's hockey you should of woke up earlier.

CBC aired the CAN women's game live (can't ask for more). Part of the challenge with this Olympics is that most of the hockey is going to be played very early in the morning by North American times due to the differential from North America to Sochi. So either get up early and have a couple coffees and watch, or set your PVR to record (and stay off social media), or watch highlights.
