Life Skills Non-profit: Marketing to high schoolers or college-aged kids?
I'm in high school and I've been working on starting a life skills non-profit (topics like mock interviews, automobile ownership, financial/taxes, etc). At first it was mainly for high schoolers and at-risk kids. However, I’d like to carefully consider marketing to high schoolers for them to use the site (a tool) independently, and especially for the teachers, because I think my time might be better spent working with college age kids (not necessarily in college) once I get everything together. What do you think?

And I'm not really sure what to do as far as marketing. How do I bring traffic to the website?

It sounds like a VERY good idea and not terribly hard to monetize into a self sustaining project. As far as mareting goes, I'd suggest hiring a marketing firm that specializes in new media marketing. I use Impact Business development and have been happy (http://www.maketherigghtimpact.com or facebook.com/impacttampabay)

shoot a message to them and see what they can offer in terms of free advice or if they can work a deal with you.
