Is there a way to post something from your news feed to someone else's timeline on Facebook?

If I see something funny in my news feed and I want to post it to a friend's timeline, I have to:

1. Save whatever it is to my desk top
2. Go to their FB page
3. Click post
4. Upload the picture
5. Submit

Is there a way to do this all directly in Facebook?

You can just share it on your friend's wall. To do this, click share. Then, click the tab which says, 'On your own timeline'. Select 'On a friend's timeline' and then type in the friend's name. Click share photo.
