can i cancle a facebook account if the email address is under my name?

My question is one that pertains in part to law. I have an email account and someone else used it to create a facebook account. I don't wish to have the facebook account out there and the email account comes from charter which means i pay for it monthly. Now because i pay for the email account monthly it means in part that i own it so my question is this because i own or rent the email address and i have the password for the facebook account does this mean that i have the ability to cancle out the facebook account since it is for all intensive purposes under my email account and therefore my name, or do i still have no rights to this facebook account even though i can delete the email account attached to it.

Yes you can delete the Facebook account giving the fact that in order to create a facebook account you need a valid email account which have to be verified by facebook after the creation. Whoever created the facebook account must have your username and address for the email address

I would suggest to go to Facebook and where it says forget password and enter your email address and they will send you a link to reset your facebook password, or you can just delete the account if you already have the user name and password, But you have to remember to change your password for your email address so it will not happen again, and legally you will not be held liable because they're not a law that say you cannot terminate your facebook account and now if its legally connected to a email you own then you can terminate it. http://www.TuffLuvXpress.TK
