Facebook app for blackberry curve not working?

Hey , i tried a million times ; my facebook app on my blackberry curve 8530 does not let me access anything . Whenever i try to log on a message pops up saying , " the facebook server has returned an unknown error and is not able to fulfill your request" and it's always happening .. 3 of my friends have the exact same phone as me , and the same company their app is working fine .
i tried restarting my phone, and i tried deleting the app and reinstalling it ; nothing helped .
Please , if anyone can help me , give me step by step directions please ? ; thanks in advance .

I have the same phone and idk. The app has given me trouble in the past, so I've deleted it and re-installed it. Try downloading the app from facebook.com from your browser, instead of going through app world.
